Ladies Football has gone from strength to strength over the past number of years, as a strong and vibrant LGFA club has been grown in Mountrath CS.
The school competes at U14, Junior and Senior levels in South Leinster and Leinster championships.
From humble beginnings, a club of nearly 100 girls now thrives within the school community.
The MCS Ladies Football team players pride themselves on providing a team community that focuses on the key values of fun, friendship and football.
A sense of personal and communal responsibility and commitment is at the heart of everything we do. The social side of sport is cherished as we organise a Christmas party and celebration of International Women’s Day each year.
